Cheap Fuel in Your Area - Inver Bagenalstown Carlow

This is the only place to go for fuel. The staff are very sound and there’s a particular worker who is always great help, I am quite old so it is difficult for me to fuel my car and when he sees me drive in he will immediately come out and begin to fuel my car for me . 5/5

Note: My original review was 5 stars. I honestly never intended to do this; however, it’s been an entire week now, and I have yet to receive my accidental refund. I’ve been a customer with Inver for the past (8) years. I live locally, and I’m a small business owner myself. On the 1st November, 2023, I was accidentally charged €36.90. That charge was for another customer. I noticed the mistake immediately; however, the transaction still went through. Then the customer that should have paid that went ahead, while the cashier setup a refund transaction for me. Yes, it sounds very confusing, and it all happened so rapidly. I was given the “refund confirmation receipt” and I left, assuming that the issue was resolved. A few days went by and it was now 4th November, 2023. I checked my account and noticed that the refund had still not been applied. I checked the refund receipt and noticed that the last (4) digits of the card number were not mine. Upset, I went back to the station and explained what happened and very kindly asked for my refund back. I really need the money right now, as I’m going through hard times. I just expected the cashier to hand me the amount and apologise for the inconvenience; instead I was told to come back in (3) days and see the cashier I dealt with. I left my number for the owner to give me a call immediately. Till now, I haven’t received even a phone call from the owner to even acknowledge the situation; let alone get my refund back.. The last thing I want is trouble. But this is just bad business, period. This definitely is not how I would handle the matter as a business owner. In fact, I would actually, and have, go out of my way to rectify the situation ASAP. I genuinely don’t think I’ll be getting my money back anytime soon, and as embarrassing as this is, I’m really going to have to plan my spending for the next few days until I get my next pay check 😳 Not cool.

I go here for the hot hand wash before entering the shop.

Really nice staff, always reasonable prices for food, fuel or coffee. Coffee is good. Car wash is really good and reasonable. Easy to park in. Had plenty of options for the fire at home with turf, coal, sticks and briquettes.
