Applegreen Mail Coach Road Sligo - Stopped by employee Greg. I went in to order food Subway at 12:15 today, I ordered and paid for it, I did not touch or otherwise use the fuel pumps. I returned to my van after paying for my food, started it and began to drive off the forecourt. Your employee ran in front of my van and stopped me requesting to know if I had paid for my fuel. I told him I had not purchased fuel, he said if he hadn't stopped me he would have had to have called the Gardai. I again stated I didn't purchase fuel he then changed his tone and said it must have been someone else. I feel I was discriminated against because I'm a construction worker, I was in PPE and am easily identified on your site cameras. This incident is by definition False Imprisonment, I was stopped from my journey detained, questioned and humiliated. This may have been only for a moment however the damage has been done. I'm so embarrassed. I had to break so hard that evening on my passenger seat my food and personal effects ended up on the floor of my vehicle. I had recently purchased flowers for my mother that also look worse for ware. Sort this guy out, check your cameras next week. I'll be talking to my Solicitor you can't stop innocent customers and state they are calling the Gardai before even an effort is made to determine the facts. I expect an apology at the very least by next week. Failing that I'll take the matter further. This is more than a misunderstanding I could have ran over your employee if I failed to see him. (Q) What is Applegrees policy in these instances?
