Londis Main Street

Good place for some quick shopping.

This is on the main line to centre parks….. which we travel regularly… my child was really needed to go to the toilet and to use the toilet the not so smiley woman informed us that to use the toilet we had be a customer… and that we would need to buy something. In Ireland I have never come across this before…. The people of Ireland are normally so nice and friendly…. But not this woman….. so, if your kids are cut short and need to pee….. don’t go here…. Not really family friendly…. It explains why the shop and car park were empty….. god bless them…. And maybe sometime they will see where they went wrong. That would of been our first port of call on are way home to get food for the long journey…. But not now.

Stopped here for a quick break as the journey was feeling a bit endless. Coffee was good for a service station and the woman serving was really lovely and we had a great giggle of the social distancing sign with a cow. Best safety measure sign to date, really effective because a LOT of people had no clue what 2m was. It actually made the place feel inviting too keeping things real in tough times. Thanks 🙏🏻

We have been stopping here for many years as we travel north/south/north. Always a welcome waiting for us. Fresh sandwiches made as you request them. Good tea and coffee. Spacious car-park. Well done to everyone and thank you.
