Sweeney Oil Headford Road - 24/7 Fuel Prices Galway

Not one to leave reviews but I go to this shop all the time for fuel and any bits I need. Never been asked for ID. Was asked Today by a girl behind the till she said she couldn’t accept my license. I am clearly above the age, coming in to pay for my fuel and get a vape, I’m 21. If a pub can accept my license why can’t this girl. She’s served me before and not asked for ID - I must look different today or at least 13 years of age 🥲

Went into shop this morning. To get teabags. Asked red head guy behind counter. Where are the teabags. Had his back to me. So I asked again. And he rudely turned around and said. I heard ya the first time. There over there... won't be back

Says open 24hrs, doors locked at 11pm and have to ask person behind counter to hand you out stuff behind the glass

Gasolinera con un spar para comprar lo básico. Esta justo al lado de la entrada al hotel y el tráfico es un poco caótico la verdad.

The staff there are so friendly and helpful, plus the bathrooms are always so clean! 😁

I had a very bad experience with the attendant pn the 12th of March. I went to buy a drink at around 4am. It is a 24 hrs shop. The guy told me that they don't open to customers not until 7am. Not up to 2min, 2 white customers bought fuel and also needed to buy few things. I was shocked that he opened the door for them. I when back to ask him by did he say the shop opens for 7am is it because i am a person of colour. That is what I call racist. No go area for me The shop attendant should not be serving customers.

I got charged €6.09 for a chicken fillet roll with bacon in it. 3 items. Ridiculous. Would have returned it but didn't realise till I was back at work.

Asked the man at counter about the mask rule (which was introduced today) and he replied cheekily saying if I wanted to be policing it I would have joined the gardas! Haha very unprofessional response from a middle aged person

Bad fuel less than 100 miles to 20e. Car usually does 140 miles to 20e
