Cheap Fuel in Your Area - The Fresh Food Centre Maxol Down

Just back from a very disappointing and embarrassing experience at the tills as a frequent customer. After paying for my shop, I noticed the man serving me had not given me any bags. To my surprise I asked can I have some bags to pack this, he very rudely told me, nearly telling me off, that I never asked for bags and he is not going to pack them as it’s policy now despite others being helped. This obviously got other peoples attention making me uncomfortable, the man continued to tell me they don’t pack in Tesco (I just asked for a bag) and that he would have to charge me (no issue). The rudeness was honestly so surprising from the usual friendly experience I receive.

Offers are brilliant, anything not on offer can be very expensive compared to other shops.

As a camper I have found that the first thing to do is find your nearest petrol station / foodhall. This place has just about everything you need whether you live in the town, are staying at the very nearby caravan park or need a quickly put together picnic before heading off exploring the Mournes. BTW, they also sell petrol! 🙂

Well overpriced shop, but at least there is a shop there.

One certain employee wouldn't bag my groceries, haven't been back since, I'll spend my £150 a week elsewhere .

Very good store. Plenty of choice. I bought a couple of fresh sandwiches and drinks. It has toilet facilities, which was welcome.
