Kathleen is such a friendly and helpful host. Her house is cozy, quiet and clean. So are the rooms. No breakfast. However the location is perfect, only a five minute walk to great town so you will find many places there. Free and safe parking at the house.
Peccato i materassi duri...
Schöne große Zimmer und geräumiges Bad. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.
We booked a double room and breakfast. When we got there, there was no double room and no breakfast. The twin beds and furniture were old. WiFi barely worked really slow connection. In the end, the lady was comprehensive and reduced the charge for the night. Nevertheless, we were not happy about it.
I was very much looking forward to staying here (first break from having my second baby) but was hugely disappointed. No breakfast offered, which was a surprise, especially given the price. ||The whole place was very old fashioned and in desperate need of a refurb. Was really looking forward to a good night sleep but was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. ||No tea / coffee in the room but offered downstairs, however the set up was so bad. Tiny table with no space to actually make your tea and no bin for your tea bag. ||There were some really drunk and noisy guests on my first night. I expected them to be asked to reduce the noise. I gave it until 2.30am, then dealt with it myself. ||Check out was strange. Only cash accepted! (Who carries this many euros around??) She did accept PayPal and even though I did this before I left, it didn't go through due to technical issues. I was travelling back to the North of England that day and didn't have time to realise / send the money again before the owner informed Booking. Com who then accused me of leaving without paying. Absolutely shocking. Rubbish experience overall. Would not recommend.
Excellent location..great get away.. 5 minute walk to the town of kenmare..clean and spotless.. spacious rooms. This definitely a hidden gem.
2 night stay in B and B but missing the breakfast. Sign says B and B and photos show a breakfast but not provided and didint realise till we got there. Tea and coffee provided downstairs but would have been nice to have the facility in the room. Rooms dated but comfortable.Wifi code not found.||Cash only - didn't know till we went to check out. No receipt offered - all a bit disappointing for 85 euros a night - better options available for same price including breakfast.||Kathleen - the lady we met was
This B&B is just off the town center. It is a large house and the rooms are really spacious, also the bathroom. It is OK but could be improved with some refurbishing works such as cleaning the tiles of the bathroom, newer bed linen.|Although there is a good room for serving breakfast, furnished with tables and chairs, t is not provided. Maybe the landlady does not want to cook or prepare it. However, there are coffee and tea facilities in the lounge.|Only cash payment accepted, and a receipt is given.
We had a great stay here at Neidin Cottage.||A fabulous cottage which was spotlessly clean and plenty of room for the 4 of us.||A great location as only a few minutes walk to Main Street and the centre of Kenmare. ||Super for self catering there’s 2 large supermarkets round the corner. Though there are some fabulous restaurants and bars in Kenmare (our favourite was No35)||We would highly recommend this cottage
Old fashioned drab room|with two single beds at the back of the house ||Something form the 80s that needs some doing-up|One blanket the bed not duvets so was cold.||Bathroom old with extremely low|sink and old mirror|Shower was in the bath.||No Wi-Fi code in the room but later was able|to find another guest as no-one stays in the place overnight except guests.||For the price €80 per night - this is bad value with no breakfast included in a house that badly needs some doing up.||Only tea and coffee facilities downstairs.|This is large house where people just sleep and pay €80 per night. No ambience or a feeling you’ve arrived in a nice comfortable place.||The lady we met, Kathleen, very nice and friendly. Rooms were clean and fresh towels supplied each day. ||Comments are for owners of the establishment: Remove the B&B sign from near the entrance, make it clear room only, spend some money on modernising the place and make it clear - for some obscure reason you only take CASH as payment .. no cards or contactless payments catered for. ||Cash only is very unusual for a service like|this as well as well as inconvenient for travellers. Only one ATM was working in town which we eventually found.||Can’t recommend this accommodation. For|€80 a night there are very comfortable places on the same road offering breakfast as included with modern rooms and facilities.
Very friendly and perfectly lovely host. Nice, large, clean rooms and well located on a quiet ish road just a short walk from the town centre.||But advertised as a B and B, and to be honest, with no breakfast, you’re just getting a room. Won’t stay here again.
My room was lovely and Kathleen was expecially helpful. A lovely place to stay in one of the finest towns in Ireland. BW
So clean, cozy, comfortable! We loved the tea and coffee that was easily accessible in the sitting room! Highly recommend! Thank you for having us Kathleen!
No breakfast, wasn't up to standered, quite shabby. Wouldn't recommend to anyone
If you want to waste 80e, look no further. The owner was clearly prejudiced against me and my girlfriend (she tried to save the double room for a "regular couple, husband and wife" even though we booked it and got there first) and she was nowhere to be seen when we arrived or when we had to go. No breakfast (although it is said in the ad, the price hasn't been lowered), noises from the road can be heard through the closed window, very itchy blankets from three decades ago, a nasty smell that had us frowning all along. Bathroom very clean but I definitely don't recommend it. What's more, the owner will block your messages if you ever have a request or comment to make!
Lovely place to stay a bit disappointed advertised as bed And breakfast, but when you get their they don't have breakfast .You have to go into town for it
Fantastic place to stay
Great place to stay in Kenmare. Room was huge, spacious and clean, breakfast was delicious and massive, staff were really care about you. The whole experience felt like you were at home. We were within walking distance to local pubs and restaurants. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Thanks a million for hosting us.
Very happy with our B&B stay in Kenmare. Kathleen is a great host, our room was all you needed for an overnight stay and our breakfast was lovely especially the hot porridge with honey and cream. I also love Irish sausages.
What a beautiful house. Only one night here I'm afraid. The house is big and so are the rooms and bathroom. We had a lovely big room at the back of the house which was lovely and quiet. There is ample car parking here, you won't need your car as it's only a five minute walk to the town. The breakfast was lovely - so much choice and the dining room was so well set out. Beautiful, spotlessly clean house with a lovely host.
It's a guest house 5 minutes walk from the main street. It has the BEST breakfast which is included in price - juice, tea/coffee, a selection of cereals and fruit, followed by a cooked meal...bacon, eggs, sausages, and the lovely Irish brown bread. Worth the stay if only for the breakfast. Our host, Kathleen, was very friendly. In arrival we were met with an offer of tea or coffee in the loungeroom. The TV is small, but we are not on holidays to watch TV. Lovely old building. Great hosts. Walking distance to town. Clean. Grat breakfast and great overall value for money. Highly recommend.
Goed ontbijt.
This is best BB I've ever stayed in we are actually staying in cottage Kathleen cant do enough for us
Nette Gastgeberin, sauberes Zimmer und Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls klasse. In wenigen Gehminuten war man im Zentrum. Vielen Dank, wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!!
Very confortable accomodations, great breakfast and super nice hosts. Great location. Highly recommended.

Great host, it is on the top of places ever been. So quiet and nice place.10+
Very comfortable and homely. Beautiful breakfast. Owners made us feel very welcome. Will definately revisit. Home from home.
Lots of breakfast but bed headboard noises. Only takes cash payments. Great location.
Close to the main streets...great staff! Comfortable rooms!
Great breakfast, spotlessly clean, reasonable rates. Highly recommend.
