What an amazing place to get a very good and cheap feed in. £18 for 2 chicken wraps and chips and 2 drinks. It couldn't be beaten.

I'm reviewing the American diner that used to be here, a shame it closed down, the food was good

Waiting in line for the cooked food counter was ignored by not one but two employees who greeted someone else by name and took their order. Was also ignored when I made myself known by speaking up. Ended up leaving without anything, they need to brush up on their customer service completely rude.

An amazing supermarket shop . Covers a vast range of goods. Has it's own excellent in house butcher counter catering for all sorts of meats, they have special BBQ prepared meats and also prepacked meat packages at reasonable prices. An in-house hot food counter is always busy as is their sandwich bar. Own brand ready type meals are offered on a large cooler display as are cakes etc. They also have a petrol/ diesel pump area which always has keen prices. Check out is quick and efficient with a small counter for quick check out with low number goods. A well stocked off licence has a variety of wines and a good range of spirits from standard names to rarer special whiskeys and gins. There is plenty of parking attached to the premises which are undergoing an update at present (June 2024).

Ordered food rice with sauce coming only rice and little sauce.

Will never buy meat from their butchers again! I don't think I've ever eaten rare steak so bloody tough. Disgusting and so disappointed especially after spending over £30 on them.

I love getting to 5 ways when I'm in Newry for work. Problem is, I spend too much money as I wasn't to buy everything in the butchers, deil and other parts of the huge shop. Great spot for lunch hot or cold. Fresh seafood and off licence on site. I'd struggle to mention a ship like this in Belfast that do what 5 ways do tbh. Highly recommend a stop off on return home from Dublin, Drogheda or Dundalk as it's just off motorway. Also decent fuel prices too compared to others in Newry.

Incredible Sunday dinner at Five Ways in Newry. Let me tell you, the line out the door was a testament to just how outstanding their food is. It seemed like the entire town of Newry was there, and for good reason! But let me assure you, the wait was absolutely worth it. and the price was unbeatable. Seriously! pay them a visit

A very busy place and very hard to get out off, we had food out of here a few times, fish is good but it is weighed, the sausages are nice but also dear, the chips are lovely but depending on which member of staff is serving you the portion can be smaller or larger for the same price.

Definitely watch the price of your buying items on special offer, as you'll be charged the full price, trading standards need to sort this kind of practice out and fine businesses where it hurts,its nothing less than stealing from customers, managers need to get a grip, its not very hard to price check items on special offer, either incompetent or just can't be bothered. As 9 out of 10 will not query the price charged,

The Deli is second to none. Huge variety of good food at reasonable prices. I could easily eat from there 5 days a week. I wish they had a seating area.

Really great shop with plenty of variety, the butcher's is amazing and the steaks are to die for and better than you'll get anywhere else. Great fish counter too. I feel happy that I'm supporting a local business especially when the quality is so good.

So hard to get out of the parking onto main routes with the lack of planning and the retail park across from it also. How long does it take local politicians to sort it out with relevant departments instead of as usual blaming some one else. Anyway to the shop it does have some keen bargains in biscuits etc. Food has increased in price and at the Deli counter dinners are weighed and can shock you when priced. Beware. Some of the chicken dishes are just bought in sliced chicken with a curry sauce added as a short cut. Some good bakery products Petrol pump night mare with lack of room and people just leaving cars blocking forecourt whilst shopping inside. Lot of abuse of Blue Badge spaces. Iron out the access and departure points and will sort so much out. Open late is useful. Lot of young staff. Young girl on Deli counter did not know what a breast portion of chicken was. So naive. But it is worth a visit.

One star for each of the ways = five stars. Very intriguing concept having a shop that ultimately can have visitors from 5 different directions. It was a sight I had to see. Brought the family up from cork as it’s one of the great wonders of old prebrexit Europe. The kids missed school but it was undoubtedly worth it.

had dinner here sunday.never again,turkey portions?? looks like a brest split in half or a smaller much smaller bird.. noticed there where very few pigeons about.. thegravy or rather lack there of .. about a spoonful ... a turkey portion should be a turkey portion not thispityful excuse-- is everyone in newry blind or stupid... avoid this place

Petol says 1.53 buts it's really 1.63 and I know this because I got the same amount of miles using a petrol station at 1.63 so I should of got more miles than I did... con...

It's been a couple of weeks that the service is terrible.. these people working behind the counter know nothing about customer service... Example yesterday, with Amber around 7pm ... It only took her 20 minutes to acknowledge that we were here, and to dare greeting us .... The food is good, but the attitude of the employees make me believe that I'm gonna start going shopping somewhere else.

Fast food my a** 1000 options. Each one of them tasteless and watered down! Not my first bad experience in there when rushing for food before a long drive. And with the price of everything these days a bit of respect to your customers would be appreciated. Just threw out a chicken curry swimming in water

The staff at the hot food counter completely messed up my order.

portions for sunday dinner have got much smaller.i had bought from supervalu one week dinner a fiver by the with 5 veg, partner pointed out that turkey and ham where smaller, when i arrived home on sunday with 3 turkey and hams she thought i had got them at supervalu because they where smaller. i also noticed problem with amount of gravy. compared to previous week it was about half as much. sunday dinner without gravy is not sunday dinner.

I get my dinner here most sundays,last sunday there where 2 problems first the portion size of the turkey and ham where a LOT smaller than usual then when i looked in the carton which was supposed to contain gravy there was very very little note i get this every week and know what i should be getting we tried tio complain 3 times first not right counter-food counter- go to check out then no manager there call back then no manager there leave phone number and manager will ring you, eachtime involved a lot of waiting about to talk to an illusive manager. anyway phone number left so manager will ring--- wrong- manager did not bother to ring.. to top things off when we eventully spoke to a manager his attitude was tough luck anyway some people dont like gravy on their dinner--weird- so the fact that my dinner was ruined did not matter- have left phone number for owner - i wonder will he be bothered to ring---BAD SERVICE BAD ATTITUDE

I bought one of your large quiche today and it was one of the nicest shop bought quiche I have had. It was the goats chees, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. The pastry was so thin and crispy.

Very Good Shop to do your shopping

Whether or not the eggs in your morning fry-up are fully cooked depends on who's working, the more senior staff don't seem to care if they give you food poisoning /salmonella, the price of the food at the hot food counter also varies depending on who serves you, sometimes the staff make you feel like you're a burden on them, lots of mumbling and grumbling under their face masks, again from the more senior staff.

Unreal food good service

There is no longer a diner here. It has been replaced by an extensive hot food bar for takeaway meals.

With the queues in and out to Mcdonalds, you can end up spending more time than planned. The parking ends up very expensive from 60 to 100 pounds fine! Shop here at your peril! Instead try Tescoes, 24 Downshire Rd, Carneyhough Ct, Newry BT34 1EE. Very helpful, knowledgeable and have great prices. Free parking and no queues. Perfect.
