I come in here whenever i’m visiting in derry. Lovely shop, wonderful staff, good prices for what you get, cheaper than most other centras. Always very clean, and good petrol prices!!! :)
Possibly the finest sausage rolls I've ever tasted 😋 bit pricy for a small tea 🍵 😲
The cheapest petrol in Derry is sold here.
Ideal place for quick shopping visits
Great place for prepared food around the clock. Living only across the road is great. Sometimes I shop here instead of the supermarket.
Ĺovelly people very helpful
Great range of food here, if you need to quickly get some milk it's here and they have a good selection of hot deli food. A sandwich bar is also here.
One of my favourite PitStops, this place Ticks All my boxes, unreal selection,
This is a nice store and I did not experience any difficulties with staff but the prices for food in this place are outrageous. £6.59?!!! for a disgusting box of what was supposed to be spaghetti bolognese I was shocked I expected it to be lovely but it was horrible. Bring your prices down or you won’t get any more service
Very nice selection of hotfood
Absolutely amazing Deli / hot food bar. Got cowboy supper and was the best garage food I’ve had in years and at a very reasonable price
Excellent service
nothing exciting, staff are okay, not cheeky.
If you pay these prices you are a moron! This shop is OUT AND OUT PROFITEERING nothing less. £2.15 for a 500ml bottle of Coke? In what world when a 2ltr bottle is EXACT SAME Price? Yes something 4× size is same price? It's time the government stepped in because this is not a cost of living crisis this is greedy disgusting owners ripping off the public. Plz boycott and force prices down.
Friendly staff
Absolutely disgusted at the service I received tonight! At time of payment my phone declined so I apologised to the cashier and said I was going to transfer money. Less than 1 minute into doing this and apologising again another staff member approached the till, stepping away from his own till. Rather than a "is everything OK here?" I was greeted with "are you going to be much longer!.?" in an extremely rude tone of voice. Initially I was shocked at how I was spoken to and said "no, I'm almost done" . No response he walked away back to his till. It took a second to sink in with me in regards to how I was spoken to. I told the woman that was serving me to forget about it and I left the store and will never set foot back in there, lost yourselves a sale of £100. Disgusted does not cover how I was spoken to!
The shop itself is probably 3 star as it’s quite average, but the overpriced deli counter with what I dare say worse than average hot food. Everything is more expensive in store than it should be, even comparing it to other similar shops nearby. Staff are also very rude and intense while serving. I used to enjoy coming here, but recently I have not.
Absolutely abysmal service. Not even worth 1 star. Have left negative review before after some unpleasant experiences with this place but took them down as I felt I was harsh but this one is staying. Haven't got any food from here in about a year since my last visit, as I needed something quick and I just hoped I'd get them on a good day this time, but nope. Chronically poor service.
Staff need to learn how retail works. Waiting in a queue for 5 mins only to have the staff member walk away three separate times to help other members while telling me to hold on a few minutes. Walked away a fourth time to go do something so I left. All in view of their manager. Prices are far, far higher than 3 stores within a 5 minute walk too. It's also weirdly clear from other reviews they don't know petrol pumps can be faulty which is a big concern.
Just left the shop and I can assure you I won't be back. I came in with myself, my son and sister who were paying separately. I was getting served and my sister was by_ passed by a member of staff to the next customer, when she asked why she was told we don't work like that. Can I please ask what way do you work?
You are required to pre-authorise your card to be able to fill up, which is a pain to start with. I did this and was charged the full authorisation amount which was £5 more than the fuel I took, didn't see it until the next day in my card statement, very underhand practice! *Edit in reply to business response I came into the shop and the cashier took authorisation, I asked her if it would automatically adjust to the quantity of fuel I was able to fill, she assured me it would. I have checked with the bank and the full amount has been debited and taken. It's only a fiver but nevertheless not good, whether it's a staff training issue needing addressed I don't know. Bottom line is I got £55 of fuel and you got £60!
A good place with a wide selection of tasty hot food and ready-made meals...
Fuel prices at a high and yet Centra strand road are short changing you!! £19.78 for a £20 fuel fill!!! Unacceptable!!
Just to note that Emma, Tina and the new employee, Gemma are all fantastic at their jobs behind the deli counter. Emma even served me once as she was ready to clear up. Excellent salads and staff worthy of a raise.
Love love love the freshly made sandwiches, girls on the deli counter are so nice, had my newborn in the pram and they couldn't do enough to help me through the store. Can't wait for my next sandwich visit
Love this garage and I don't even have a car. I go in because the food that you can get is great. Hot or cold, coffee, ice cream plus if you need some bits and bobs. The staff are friendly and help ful and there is even a place to park up and eat your food and plenty of bins for your rubbish. If you out and about and need something to eat give this place ago you won't be disapponited....x
Great place modern well run
Great sandwiches and food served in store
Great place staff very friendly will help you with anything their hot food is beautiful
Always busy
Everything you need under one roof! Friendly staff, cheap quality fuel, best deli in Derry! Coffee is sometimes too strong but make sure to add extra milk to your Latté. Great job!
Great selection of sandwiches and hot food, as well as fresh food.
Myself and a work colleague were down for the day doing a bit of work and called in here for some lunch and were actually shocked how much we were charged for a substandard wrap, very unimpressed, for example a wrap with a few fillings was £5, along with a drink crisps and chocolate all came to near £8:50,one of the more expensive lunches we've had,we noticed they had no tie in meal deals for thier wraps/sandwiches etc which is strange for a reasonable side company like this!
Quick and efficient although let down slightly by poorly staffed check outs
Friendly and pleasant staff
The chips tasted like dirt and the oil hasn't been changed since the cows went home. The outside of the chips tasted like sand. The staff were actually very friendly.
It's ok, it has a selection of choices regarding food and drinks but unfortunately it doesn't sell any alcohol
Great service and staff
Nice fresh coffee and sandwhiches
