Usual, nothing special, just shopping.
Easy parking
Clean, good stock
Is not the best Tesco as shelf’s are always half empty and staff not great (probably underpaid), is handy to have nearby and hence why I go when I have no other choice.I have noticed before that some foreigner customers once at the till where treated differently but this evening was just disgusting. Two Indian women were refused to buy a bottle of rose wine because they looked too young, the oldest looked older than my mother and I’m 40! He (Keith) asked them to provide an ID or a Visa document (that they didn’t have with them as they paid with their phone) and treated them very differently than anyone else in the queue. I asked if I could buy the bottle for myself and he refused to sell it to me too in case I was going to give it to them. I understand that finding educated staff to accept an underpaid job must be hard but there must be drawn a line.
Good luck 🤞
Great supermarket
When you are assaulted in the car park by a member of the staff in their Tesco uniform and Tesco do nothing about it Shame on them
Low in produce today 😕
Purchased strawberry laces today and was immensely disappointed. Opened the packet ready to enjoy this sweet treat and was shocked to discover that these strawberry LACES were not in fact laces. They were compressed in a sticky moist ball of gelatine. Tell me what the point is in separating the jelly into laces only to carelessly stuff them into a bag and allow them to fuse together into a revolting mess. Tesco I compel you to fix this packaging issue or you will lose me as a customer - permanently.
Good overall experience.
Toilets grim 😱
Huge store. You can get everything here including Indian groceries like aata, chawal, daal, masale etc. Ensure you have Tesco club card to get more benefit.
Helpful staff and very spacious and well laid out for ease of shopping
Sick and tired of having to dodge restocking trolleys in every single aisle during the day! Get your restocking done during the night shift and why the hell do you allow your staff to have headphones on during public hours? There I am trying to ask a simple question to one of your employees having to raise my voice so they hear me over their music only for them to pull out their earphones with a snarky "What!?" In response to me. Customer service is terrible in this tesco, specially those old women you have working on the CUSTOMER SERVICE desk, clues in the name, customers come first, i'm stood there at the till and your elderly female staff are ignoring my existance putting clothes on hangers or counting something in the tobacco shelf instead of serving me.
I always go to this store. They have everything I need
A simple request about getting a refund turned into a complete fiasco . The patronising arrogance and unhelpful attitude of two women in customer service was unbelievable. Should not be dealing with the customers who keep them in jobs. Many other lovely staff in the store.
It's a tesco, what do you expect?
Really had enough of Tescos, it's becoming increasingly more frustrating to shop here. Constantly changing the layout and at times it makes absolutley no sense where they have rearranged things. Today was the final straw, unable to get past others feeling the same and looking for things and narrow choke points....I know it's narrow profit margins and getting you to look more with potential to buy other things you hadnt planned on....To be honest I won't go back and shop somewhere that I know things are going to be consistently and save myself the frustration.
One place to get everything what we need
Nice store, recently refurbished so looks a bit more modern. Has all the essentials and more. Can be difficult to get some fruit and veg later in the evening/night. Also you can recycle your soft plastics inside the main door and just to the right (in case you have trouble finding it)
Worst tesco ever. My family was trying to buy alcohol. And cashier didn’t let us buy it because for some reason he thinks that for my family I am paying myself. However he doesnt have evidence that I will pay and all my money had my dad and he was about to give it to him. And cashier decided to ask me ID card. Better to go somewhere else but definitely not to buy here. Also, had to listen to him for 10 minutes straight
Average tesco's. Large selection. The workers were a bit slow at the self-service checkouts, and the self-scan machines are really not designed right.
Staff is nice and plenty selection but price is through the roof for low quality products
Staff are very helpful if you ask anyone a question or for any help they will do their utmost to assist you. The outlet need to stop moving their products about the store, it's very frustrating to try and find what you're looking for.
Every little shelf
Very good
Regular shopper in here, Very rude lady on the customer service desk blonde bob and square glasses, very ignorant told me I wasn't not allowed to pick my scratch card assuming I was under the legal age to purchase where as in fact I am the legal age to purchase this. checked my ID without even looking at it then questioned me again for her mistake and not even giving me the exact cards I want. Very rude and ignorant lady, no customer service skills, SHOULD NOT BE WORKING AS A CSA!! lily is fab!
Has everything you need. Better prices than sainsbury.
Very affordable store to be and clean with good customers service in place
Extremely bad I'll not be back to this store. Some staff very unhelpful, queues most times at self service checkouts while staff gather amongst themselves chatting and laughing while customers require assistance. If I had the power I'd get rid starting with the management.
Staff treated the Asian people (CUSTOMER)very different ways:(
This is not the grocery store you wanna go to after work to sort out your dinner as I find the shelves of veggies and some food almost empty at night. Also, there’s no scan and go option which would have been a lot helpful when shopping. They also have a habit of reshuffling shelves so you find yourself spending time looking for the items on your shopping list. Nevertheless, I find this grocery store convenient considering that it is just a few steps away from my house.
But I got a surprise for you today, so I decided to do all of this town and then take action with the whole party!
Poor service in coffee shop. Sunday afternoon. Paid for cappuccino. Didn't get it.
good
Very unfriendly workers.
Ok
Alles an einem Ort
Big store and almost everything you need in groceries you will get here. Never disappointed. Nice and friendly staff.
Very good for a shopping visit!
Great selection of different things
Good big shopping building..... lots to choose from
Staff at customer service are always helpful.
Always poorly stocked , staff have little or no interest. Tesco’s in general are very good but this branch in particular is a mess.
Clean and tidy as always plus great staff😁
Everything you need for your daily essentials. I find tesco pretty consistent with the way things are set up. Never any problems with service and staff always friendly as well as helpful. Got to shop.
Very good selection of meal deals, friendly staff.
Friendly staff.
It's getting very expensive and now this morning they've completely closed the hot food deli and before you could've bought sliced cooked meat and ham from the deli counter and now they have stopped all that. It's getting worse to shop here and I'm thinking of going somewhere else.
I absolutely have got to detest this store. The shopping experience is horrendous. The shelves are empty, very little choice. Prices go up daily, no two stores have the same prices. When you get the meagre offerings you have to join queues of up to 21 people to self pay. This is just another way for Tesco's to add to their bumper profits. 21 people in a queue and 5 staff standing talking about what they had done the night before. Absolutely disgusting.
You need a £1 to release your a trolley, otherwise you'll have to make do with a basket. How old-fashioned is that?
