The lady inside made up a great chicken roll for us. She gave us directions to her favourite spot, complete with waterfall. While sitting outside eating a guy in a bin company van just walked over to us and directed us to the highest viewing point on the island. Great to see the friendly welcome is still alive

Called in last week on a trip. What a delightful lady (dislikes Campervans) who served up hot food, and offered advice on what to do and see on the island. Great shop and fuel prices. Sitting outside enjoying the food when a local guy in a bin company van stopped, knocked on the window (are you touring)and suggested the visit to Dookinlley. What a view 😍

Staff are so welcoming and lots of choice. Great spot to park up for a hot drink and food. I visited 2nd Sept 2022 it was it lashing down, but everyone had smiles on their faces. Staff fantastic... well done.

It is a place with a very beautiful view

Staff friendly enough but no flexibility shown. We are vegetarian and so wanted chips in a roll but staff member pointed to the menu board and said “we only do what’s up there”. Excellent customer service would be to show a little flexibility but the staff member was fairly young and possibly might have felt they would get into trouble”. Posting this for future reference.

If you leave it too late to get beverages and movie night treats this is the last chance saloon. Achill just seems to shutdown after 7pm and there was no shops open.
