Stopped off for some hot drinks and snacks. Hot drinks were good but bought a ham and cheese croissant unheated and when I unwrapped it both the cheese and ham was hard on the edges. Who knows how long it had been sitting in their display fridge. It also cost a whopping €5.25. Probably for the privilege of someone wrapping it up for me. So wouldn't recommend the deli sandwiches folks.
A very good stop off point at Junction 8.
Clean with good services.
As a coach driver must say don't like going there as they leave trucks park in the bus parking and also don't look after the bus drivers anymore .....juntion 14 also the plaza have given the drivers cards etc....but not here so roll ion
It's clean. Lots of pumps and well staffed. Great location, half way between Dublin and Cork. Easy access. Food available.
Fast service friendly staff shop is well stocked for a petrol station
The reason that screen wash and addblue bottles , coal, bottles of gas, are outside, that when you pay for them, you just collect it on your way out and you would not need to bring them in to petrol station to be scanned.A bar code tags for all these heavy products should be given to the cashiers to keep them at the til inside the shop. I was asked to bring a bottle of addblue and a bottle of screen wash inside so they could be scanned…. Do I have to bring a couple of bags of coal if I want to purchase them so they could be scanned also? You are not a very intelligent person, dear Mr.manager.
Expensive but handy on a road trip
This stop used to be one of the pride and joys of the M8 motorway it is now the most filthiest on the m8 motorway if not all motorways in Ireland. Staff have always been and still are the most friendliest but seemed to be lacking a severe need of training. Absolutely do with a visit from a health inspector. Main points in need of severe maintenance and cleaning the bathrooms, the coffee machines, and the deli counter. I do hope that at some stag, this place will return to its glory.
Very clea n and tidy,
Needs lights in the car park. Very creepy vibe.
Stopped to get diesel ⛽️ and possibly food 10am , the toilets absolutely disgusting the smell of urine was horrible , In general filthy dirty from floors and walls . Sorry but I wouldn’t dream of eating there
Appalling. The layout barely allows one to get in beside the pumps, which spew teenage internet American at you, and once finished one cannot turn left or right. The signage sends one in a circle, or is simply absent. Inside it is one big mess, coffee machines which don't provide what is listed as on offer. It is not clear where you pay, and if you ask you're ignored. The toilets are awful, and leaving the chaos one realises one stinks of frying fat (that is at 10 o'clock in the morning) before trying to find the way back onto the motorway. Baffling.
I've "stopped" here 4 times this year and there is never enough parking. What use it a rest stop if it is impossible to rest or stop? Eventually parked at a petrol pump. It is an absolute joke. The services themselves are fine. There is a McDonalds, Krispy Kreme and a deli. The toilets were also clean. Staff prompt. But seriously the parking situation is a nightmare. This is one of the biggest services in Ireland and they have so little space for cars.
Pulled in here to get fuel and coffee/food and use the toilets. Got fuel, used the toilets and left without the coffee or food because the toilets were so dirty. The smell from the men's toilet was horrendous. Obviously hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Avoid, because there are far nicer places not far away.
Toilets look like not cleaned on a month. Oneway system in place for no reason and everything over priced as usual with circle k. Avoid ifossible
Very busy service station on the motorway to Cork which is why I was a bit surprised when it took ages for find a carpark space. There is not enough car parking for how busy it gets. Same inflated prices as most of the motorway service stations. The toilets were not well maintained. There are some outdoor picnic tables and a play area.
Covid has returned and the amount of uncovered food on desplay is unacceptable ,everywhere you turn at the coffee counter had cakes pastries etc.and the customers breathing all over them. I asked for a small cone and got a massive one instead which was twice the size I ordered, as it was for the dog and was much too large I asked the girl to put it into a cup but she refused . We always call here on our journey to Cork but that is the last time.
Perfect
Tasteless food from the deli and quite expensive. Toilets were very dirty. I'm not sure if I'd call in again. Only 3☆ as the staff were nice and easily accessible from m8.
Just been in to the deli, completely ignored despite 5 member of deli staff, one person serving and 4 talking then when it was my turn to be served they decide to serve the fella behind me, decided to leave as they clearly didn’t want to serve me, poor customer service
Gerai
The toilets are a disgrace
Clean, tidy, a large range of food and beverage options, plenty of car parking outside.
Great services facility.
Jambon Explosion!
Visited at 04.45 shop was fully stocked up including the deli. Very impressed
Great petrol station. Love their diesel. Wish they had garlic bread.
I just came in to Circle K to get some food from the deli, but a worker refused to serve me because she was due to go on a 15 minute break. I walked away and saw that she served 4 other customers after me. I’m very angry over this and would like this worker pulled up and punished for this.
€6 for a chicken roll. What a bunch of rip offs.€4 everywhere else ,,👎
Once again when my husband and I called there was nothing Gluten free available.. (I'm sure I'm not the only Coeliac who have stopped there ). We have stopped there many times ( my husband likes the place) . Each time we call there is nothing for me to eat, apart from fruit, salad, I'm told sorry but there is nothing the staff can do..MANAGEMENT won't / don't want to supply Gluten free bread, rolls or wraps.. wonder why??. Shame on them.
